My mind

As I sit in class
My mind begins to wander
Going to places that are much fonder
But as I sit longer my mind begins to ponder
More serious topics arise
My mind is like an ocean, in which I am drowning
My thoughts are like a rope, in which I am bound
My mind is a maze, in which I am lost
My mind is dark and I cannot see
